Good morning. It's Tuesday, April 14. Spring in Eugene is bringing that classic one-two punch: more ways to get outside and more reasons to grab a great meal. From big park improvements in the works to students serving up a polished dining experience, it is a solid week to lean into local. Alright, here's today's edition of your Eugene Lowdown.

Lane's Culinary Students Cook Up Another Win
If your spring plans include eating well for cheap, take notes: Lane's Culinary Arts team won top honors at Chefs' Night Out, plus an honorable mention for Presentation and Hospitality and Best Sweet Bite.
